Once you have chosen the correct pet for you and your family, Johannesburg SPCA inspectors will make arrangements to come to your property to ensure that your property is suitable for the type of animal you have chosen, this includes, that it is fully secured. The inspector will be able to answer further questions you might have pertaining to basic animal husbandry.
Your new companion is then sterilised, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped (dogs) and receives a collar and tag before leaving the SPCA.
Their Pet Accessory Store is also a one-stop shop for all your pet requirements for your new animal. Quality pet food, sturdy leashes and collars, toys for enhancing quality of life, snug beds, weather-proof kennels, litter trays, shampoo and so much more.
What more could your animal ask for, besides love? Adoption fees are R450 for dogs and R250 for cats.
