In honour of her daughter’s beautiful memory, a mother and her organisation hosted a fundraiser brunch in aid of a local community and children’s organisation.

Mandy Joubert started her organisation, Sharing is Caring in honour of her four-year-old daughter, Zoey, who tragically passed away from a fatal head injury almost three years ago.

Women from all walks of life attended Mandy’s Beautiful Ladies Brunch at the stunning Engedi venue on Sunday 7 June in aid of the Mug and Tree Organisation in Krugersdorp West.

Grandmothers, mothers, daughters and friends dressed in pink to help raise funds to assist in Mug and Tree’s efforts to establish a safe house and baby drop box.

An estimated R15 500 was raised, which left Mandy speechless.

Guests speakers Paula Quinsee and Janine Carley-James reminded the women why it is important not to loose themselves in their busy lives.

Some light entertainment in the form of dancing was provided by the talented girls from Just Dance based in Noordheuwel.

Not only was it a successful fundraising morning, but also a beautiful brunch in honour of a little girl whose sole purpose in her short life was to make a difference.
