The SANBS is reaching crisis levels and urgently needs your help.

The South African National Blood Services (SANBS) is experiencing a severe blood shortage and needs your help.

“We are sitting on 1,7 days stock, which is reaching a critical stage,” Lebo Seatlholo, SANBS Public Relations Practitioner said in an urgent press statement.

“The SANBS needs you to urgently donate blood. We are near a crisis level and without your immediate help we will not be able to donate a lifetime to those patients who are in dire need of blood transfusions.”

For more information on how to donate, call (toll free) 0800 11 9031 to find your nearest donor centre or visit their website www.sanbs.org.za.
