Less stress in Krugersdorp?
Stress might be a word you know too well. But living in a slower-paced town like Krugersdorp can mean lower stress levels.

Have you lost your job lately, started a new job, lost a family member or are you suddenly doing something you have never done before? Do you have neck and back pain, do you stutter or grind on your teeth?
It might be stress – and it is not pretty.
Stress normally appears when something big changes in your life and you are now expected to adapt, says a local nurse.
But living in Krugersdorp might mean that you are a little less stressed than your friends in Sandton.
“If your are constantly racing everywhere, your stress levels can become higher,” says a local doctor.
But he also says that stress is very much about the person and not the situation. You might stress about a recent break-in while your partner sees it as an opportunity to be more protective.
“Not everyone stresses about the same things. Stress is a very personal experience,” he says.
Answering a recent questionnaire on the Facebook page Krugersdorp Network Community, residents of Krugersdorp agreed that stress can bring you down, but they gave some helpful tips on dealing with it.
Claire Meintjes says that going to the gym works for her.
“In our home, we make watching television a special occasion. We change small things everyday.”
Debbie Otto says the time in which we live is filled with negativity and that is what gets everyone down.
“Small things can now become stress issues. You need to find something that helps you release tension.”
