Calling Krugersdorp men to man up

Krugersdorp men are being called to man up, do you accept the challenge?

A local religious men’s group is calling upon Krugersdorp men to man up and take a stand towards building a greater future for generations to come.

The Calling is a support group run by Andre Banett and other leaders of the community who meet weekly at the Yada Centre on Voortrekker Road to pray and support each other.

The independent group works hand in hand with local churches and supporting leaders.

“We take boys and turn them into men,” Andre said.

The Calling is inviting the men of Krugersdorp to go on a camp with them later this year which will consist of adventure, team building and scripture.

The men will also enjoy warrior training along with talks presented by various speakers about a variety of topics.

By joining The Calling, members undergo various of levels, based on the traditional army structure where they start Commando’s and work their way up.

“We aim to provide young men with a toolbox and to teach them how to use these skills in their everyday life.”

Andre feels that today’s society is upside down and that men should man up and start following their calling.

He believes that although times have changed, men still need to wear the pants in the household and guide the family into a righteous life.

The camp will be hosted by The Calling from 22 to 25 October free of charge.

“We need a generation change and fast. Do you accept the challenge?” Andre asked.
