This joke has no leg to stand on

Residents are shocked after discovering a neighbour's sick sense of humour lying on their street's pavement.

A neighbour with a sick sense of humour got residents of a street talking about the shocking discovery they made on the pavement this morning.

A resident sent numerous panic messages along with seemingly graphic photos to the News’ about a strange, human-like object lying on the pavement. The News immediately went to investigate what is seen lying on the pavement in Van Wyk Street, Krugersdorp West.

Confused and paranoid residents stood nearby to get a glimpse of what looked like someone’s leg that had been brutally amputated.

When taking a closer look at the display of someone’s rather disturbing humour, one sees an animal bone dressed with a sock and a shoe.

A bystander told the News that she had seen one of their neighbour’s dogs chew on a similar looking bone a few days ago.

Coincidentally the neighbour in question walked past while a group of housewives stood over the bone, trying to make sense of the sick joke.

The News then decided to approach the young man who “knew nothing” of the bone.

He was then asked by the group to remove the shoe and sock from the bone.

The News can confirm that it is not a human leg, as first believed, but rather a neighbour playing a prank on the residents of the street.
