Police found suspected stolen goods after the community chased of a vehicle with suspicious occupants inside.
Members of the community alerted the police after they chased the suspected housebreakers in an attempt to try and catch them, but to no avail.
“On arrival at the scene police found the vehicle abandoned in the middle of the road. They searched the vehicle where they found two plasma screen televisions on the backseat,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale.
Police are not sure where the properties were stolen from or from which residence.
The stolen property was booked in at the Krugersdorp police station.
No arrests have yet been made following the incident.
“Krugersdorp police would like to thank the community for working together to fight crime,” Mashale concluded.
