A 21-year-old male was taken into police custody after he was found in possession of ammunition and illegal substances.
The Krugersdorp police were conducting their normal patrols on Albertina Sisulu Road (Main Reef Road) in Luipaardsvlei when they noted two citizens acting suspiciously on one of the street corners.
Police then proceed to approach the two males to stop and search them.
One of the suspects was searched and found in possession of a magazine and one round of ammunition, which he was hiding in his jacket.
A small plastic container containing dagga was also found in his possession.
“He was then arrested and detained at the Krugersdorp police station and is expected to make a brief appearance in court,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said to the News.
