New details have come to light about this morning’s mob justice incident.

An attempted armed robbery at the Krugersdorp Taxi Rank took a turn for the worse when taxi drivers and civilians took the law into their own hands.
It is believed that taxi-bosses gave chase after two armed robbery suspect decided to make a run for it in the storm water ditch that runs parallel to Pretoria Street.
There the two suspects where were attacked and stoned by the mob. No one died contrary to previous reports.
The fight eventually defused as more and more police arrived, however, one officer fractured his front arm in the struggle.
Numerous CPFs helped close off the streets and helped the police on the scene to search the area for firearms and ammunition.
One suspect was also treated for a wound to the head, while the other suspect fled the scene.
Police also managed to recover two firearms from the scene believed to be used by the suspects.
