Another local beauty vying for the crown

Rayleen will fight for the title of Mrs South Africa.

Living by Oprah’s words, local Schwarzkopf Professional (SP) Mrs South Africa semi-finalist Rayleen Badenhorst will take the biggest adventure by “living the life of her dreams.”

Rayleen is a 32-year-old hard working mother of three and wife of nine years who was chosen as one of 100 semi-finalists from across the country for the SP Mrs South Africa pageant.

It has been a lifelong dream of hers to compete for the ultimate title of SP Mrs South Africa.

Rayleen explained that SP Mrs South Africa is a woman empowerment programme for successful and driven married women who believe they have a greater purpose. Mrs SA also supports the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa), the pageant’s official charity.

A proud Krugersdorper, Rayleen matriculated from Krugersdorp High School in 2001 and graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a BCom in Accounting, she serves on the board of trustees for the FSL Group and has done so for the past 12 years. She is currently the Director of TU Trailers situated in the CBD.

“I aspire to inspire women to never stop living the life of their dreams. This is exactly what I am doing and something I have always done.”

Rayleen also believes that “you are what you believe.”

And by entering Mrs SA she aims to help other woman reach their dreams as well and not be afraid to take on an adventure.

The next step for Rayleen is to secure a spot in the top 25 finalists of the competition. The finalists will be announced at the Cansa Gala dinner at Emperors Palace on 29 April.

To vote for Rayleen to be in the top 25, like the SP Mrs South Africa Facebook page and her photo.

Earlier this month, reigning Mrs South Africa, Candice Abrahams, was crowned as this year’s Mrs World in China.
