Taxi rolls on Paardekraal Drive
10 were injured after the driver of the taxi lost control of the vehicle.
Paramedics rushed to a scene on Paardekraal Drive where 10 people were injured after the taxi they were travelling in rolled.
Yesterday afternoon, ER24 paramedics along with other response services reacted to the scene where they found the occupants of the taxi seated around the vehicle.
“On assessment, paramedics found that 10 people had been injured in the collision, including the driver. Paramedics set up a triage area and began treating the patients,” ER24’s Spokesperson, Russel Meiring said.
Five of the injured patients were transported by ER24 to Leratong Hospital while the remaining five were transported by other emergency services.
It is believed that the driver of the taxi lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities.
