Merc gang arrested this weekend?
The Merc gang terrorising the community of Krugersdorp are still at large and reports suggest that it was not them arrested over the weekend.
Unconfirmed reports regarding the arrest of three members of the alleged Merc gang circulated on Facebook this past weekend.
Residents from Krugersdorp took to the social media platform where they shared a post of Lenasia Police arresting three suspect driving a Mercedes-Benz.
The post suggested the police of that area successfully arrested members of the Merc gang which has been terrorising residents of Krugersdorp for the past two months.
The News contacted the Krugersdorp Police to confirm the claim whether the perps could be linked to any of the cases in Krugersdorp.
Police say the three suspects who were arrested in Lenasia are not be linked to any of the recent cases in Krugersdorp because they do not fit the profiles of the Merc gang suspects.
