Shop assistant robbed at knife point
Two male suspects fled by foot after robbing a shop assistant at knife point.
Hekpoort police is seeking more information after a shop assistant was robbed in broad daylight.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery after the shop on the R24 was robbed on 6 May in broad daylight.
The complainant was alone in the shop when he noticed two males entering at about 9am.
One suspect stood at the door and the other one stood next to the counter. When the complainant tried to run, a suspect produced a knife and threatened him.
“The suspect demanded money. They took cash from the cash register, airtime and the complainant’s cell phone and then fled on foot,” Hekpoort Police spokesperson, Constable Gloria Maswanganye said.
