Individuals, organisations and businesses need to take a stand in an attempt to highlight the plight of our communities that are riddled with problems, especially drug.
Welfare organisations are unable to render extensive social services to all children who are exposed to social ills in the community owing to a lack of funding.
One such organisation is NG Welfare Krugersdorp, so they decided to get involved in the National Tekkie Tax Day campaign.
This campaign on Friday, 27 May, gives you the opportunity to show with your feet where your heart lies. Choose your sticker for a cause close to your heart, spunk up your tekkies with a funky pair of Tekkie Tag shoelaces and you are ready for National Tekkie Tax Day.
Everyone is urged to become part of the solution and support this campaign. The shoelaces (R35 per packet) and the stickers (R10 each) are available at Hanelie van der Merwe at NG Welfare Krugersdorp during office hours.
