Have a heart this Christmas by helping the less fortunate
The God Disciples Foundation is appealing to the good-hearted people of Krugersdorp to open not only their hearts this Christmas, but their wallets too.
With Christmas less than two months away, many have already started planning how they will be celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.
But for others who are less fortunate, Christmas might just be the worst time of the year.
However, one foundation wants to change that and is currently planning a Christmas fundraiser to aid a very special Christmas Function for the less fortunate children, residents, disabled and even elderly of Krugersdorp.
The God Disciples Foundation is appealing to the good-hearted people of Krugersdorp to open not only their hearts this Christmas, but their wallets too.
The Foundation aims to collect just about everything that can make a difference in a less fortunate person’s life. From non-perishable foods to clothing and toys, Christmas is about giving.
They are also trying to raise funds because food and toys do not pay for education or lodging and therefore the funds will aid in a child’s school fees, the medical expenses of a disabled person or help an elderly person with their monthly utility bills.
The Foundation would really like to make everyone’s dreams come true this Christmas, and you can help.
The Christmas Function is set to take place on 10 December. If you would like to donate in any way, shape or form, contact Maritza Pretorius on 011 058 3007 or Porra du Preez on 076 065 5900.
