Clarkson, Hammond and May in the Cradle

The trio of The Grand Tour made a stop in the Cradle of Humankind.

Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have become household names for being presenters of the UK’s highly popular car show Top Gear.

Now the trio are presenters of their new show, The Grand Tour, since the BBC announced in March 2015 that it would not renew Clarkson’s contract after he verbally and physically attacked a Top Gear producer over a dispute at a hotel while filming on location.

The trio recently shot an episode of their new show in Krugersdorp’s backyard – the Cradle of Humankind.

The Citizen published a video of them while they were hosting their show to a select few in the Cradle.

In the video, Jeremy talks about the Cradle and mentions the fossil findings that were made by world renowned archaeologists. In the clip he says, “This is ground zero, this is where all of human history began”.

In the clip he also makes fun of SA’s president Jacob Zuma.
