The event was named Rocking the Cradle as artists and various rock bands performed free of charge.

The entrance fee was a gift for a child, which was donated to the charity organisations.

More than 350 guests attended the show to watch artists such as Dozi, Heuning, Howie Combrink, Saarkie and Gert Koevert on the Krugersdorp Town Hall stage.

The beneficiaries expressed their surprise and appreciation for the helping hand the artists have extended to them.
