Pedestrian mutilated by multiple vehicles

Eyewitnesses said body parts were scattered across the road.

The N14 at the Muldersdrift off-ramp was a horror scene on Friday night, 2 December when multiple vehicles not only crashed into each other, but drove over the body of a pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle.

It is believed the havoc started when a VW Golf knocked over a pedestrian at the entrance to the off-ramp.

It is alleged another approaching vehicle, believed to be a 4×4, then drove over the same pedestrian.

The driver stopped his vehicle, but then drove off again.

A third vehicle, believed to be a Hyundai, also drove over the pedestrian and crashed into the off-ramp barrier.

An on-duty police officer then drove into another vehicle close to the now mutilated body of the pedestrian.

Eyewitnesses said body parts were scattered across the road.

Local authorities are investigating the matter.
