The film officially opens at cinemas nationwide on Friday, 27 January. The film is a thriller-comedy from renowned director and producer, Koos Roets.

“It is an unusual, funny and clever murder mystery, filled with unexpected twists and turns. It will keep you on the edge of your seat whilst laughing uncontrollably,” said Lizz Meiring, who plays the role of Bonnie van der Byl.

Bonnie is a receptionist at a theatre. While she is on the phone, her boss (Deon Lotz) is murdered. Bonnie discovers him on the office table with a dagger in his back. After calling the police, she collapses and is woken by the flashlight of Constable Mickey Mentz (Andre Weidemann), only to discover that the body is nowhere to be seen. The perfect setting for a ‘who did it?’ murder mystery filled with unexpected moments of laughter, twists and turns.

When all the characters and their dirty secrets are brought together for cross-examination, weird and wonderful secrets are revealed. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Dorette Potgieter, Lida Botha, Geon Nel and Flip Theron, with guest appearances by Anton Goosen, Soli Philander and Leon Ecroignard.
