Explore the beauty of scrap-booking

This year's South African National Scrapbook Day will be celebrated in nine different regions and at 25 venues.

The best way to capture a special moment is to scrapbook it.

Scrap-booking is a talent and a passion for many people. They often gather at each other’s homes to share their talents and even go on retreats together.

Scrap-booking is a way to preserve family history, personal mementos, photographs, newspaper clippings, artwork and other memorable moments. It has become a popular hobby and those who enjoy it may develop a strong social network by exchanging tools, advice and techniques.

This year’s South African National Scrapbook Day (28 January) will be celebrated in nine different regions and at 25 venues. Krugersdorp is one of them.

The challenge is to bring your unfinished projects or new projects to St Ursula’s High School, corner of First and Premier Street, Krugersdorp North. To be part of this event, contact Michelle via michellevanwyk71@gmail.com.
