It is alleged the bakkie was crossing Trezona Avenue and did not stop at the stop sign for oncoming traffic. A Volkswagen Polo with two occupants was travelling towards Albertina Sisulu Road when the bakkie allegedly drove into the side of it. The driver of the Polo tried to veer away from the bakkie before the impact occurred, but did not succeed in avoiding the collision.
