[JUST IN] Strike at Mogale City municipal building

Residents are urged to stay away from building.

Krugersdorp residents received a warning today, 23 June to not visit Mogale City Local Municipality because of a municipal worker strike.

It seems as if the Rates and Taxes hall is worst affected, and various ward councillors have asked that community members avoid the area completely.

The strike has since started to calm down after a ward councillor went to the offices to calm the situation.

The reason for the employees’ strike is not yet known.
