Painting with the colours of the wind

It was the first time it has been done and much fun was had by learners and staff alike.

Monument Primary School hosted its first ever colour run on Wednesday 28 March to raise money for specific school projects.

About 950 learners participated in the run in an atmosphere of colourful powder paint.

Dané Moore, one of the teachers at the school, said it was a wonderful day and seeing the children so excited and happy made it extra special.

Some of the parents also had a chance to be powdered.

“The colour run was a wonderful initiative by our parents’ association. It was the first time it has been done and much fun was had by learners and staff alike,” Dané said.
