On Saturday, 19 April, St Ursula’s Primary School held its second successful Science Fair for their Grade 6 and Grade 7 learners, and it was nothing short of mind-blowing.

The hall was filled with Albert Einsteins, Isaac Newtons and Galileo Galileis and the judges received projects that ranged from wind turbines and projectors to hydraulics and Maglev trains.

According to Claire Conradie from the school, this day is held to give their learners a chance to showcase their scientific and technological skills and knowledge.

Their Grade 6 winner was Neo Masemola. Neo showed her audience how a volcano erupts. Their Grade 7 winner was Matthew Mossop, who explained and demonstrated how Maglev trains work.
