PHOTOS: Maragon Grade 1s begin primary school

The new Grade 1s of Maragon Avianto School attended their first day on 14 January.

Last week was filled with smiles and laughter as the new Grade 1s at Maragon Avianto School in Muldersdrift attended their first day of primary school.

Their teacher was already waiting when they started arriving with their parents from 7am.

Taya Mincher is excited for her first day.

Each child got to choose a place to put their schoolbag and they made their own name tags later that day.

Some of the boys immediately started playing while waiting for the school bell to ring and announce the start of the day. They built their own fort out of building blocks.

Good luck, Maragon’s Grade 1s!
