The work done to connect the B11 and B19 pipelines, which will see an increase of raw water flowing into the West Rand, has finished on schedule, after three days of work by Rand Water and the municipalities involved.
The shutdown of the pipeline did not lead to any shortage or restriction of the water supply to the community, as proper planning beforehand and regular evaluation of reserve water levels were implemented.
