Offroad fun with Kosmos and Boys and Girls Town

The annual Kosmos and Boys and Girls Town 4x4 fun day was a success this year and everyone involved had loads of fun.

It was recently time for 4×4 fun at Hobby Park in Noordheuwel.

Kosmos Lodge’s Freemasons once again hosted their annual 4×4 fun day in aid of Boys and Girls Town, and this year saw more entries than last year.

This day is not only to raise funds for Boys and Girls Town, but a handful of the best learners also got to enjoy an outing.

Drivers had to overcome more than 15 gruelling obstacles and some fun tricks were implemented this year.

Drivers had to carry a bowl full of water when they ascended a hill and the amount of water left was measured after they descended later in the competition.

A few drivers had some interesting tricks up their sleeves but everyone involved had loads of fun.

As always the children from the Magalies and Randfontein Boys and Girls Town branches were treated to a fun day where they could watch the competitions and have a nice lunch.

“Yet another fun-filled family event. The youth from Girls and Boys Town had so much fun and will forever be grateful to be exposed to such adventures,” said Pearl Msweli, the marketing manager at Girls and Boys Town.

She also wished to thank everyone who attended the event.

“Thank you to the Kosmos team, who managed and coordinated this event with Girls and Boys Town, as well as all the sponsors and supporters who made this event a reality,” she added.
