Relief after a local man was found after being missing for a month.

A local man who had been missing for more than a month, has been found, much to the relief of the West Rand Association for Persons with Disabilities.

Casper Adriaan Scott, 42, who lives at the centre, was found on Monday, 8 July in Brakpan, after he had been missing since 6 June.

It is believed that Casper suffers from bipolar disorder and that he has a colostomy bag (after undergoing a surgical operation in which the colon is shortened to remove a damaged part and the cut end is diverted to an opening in the abdominal wall).

During the time he was missing, he was not taking his medication, nor was he eating properly.

Annalene Rossouw from the centre said,”We are glad that we found Casper and that he is in safe hands now, although he is still in hospital undergoing treatment since he was not taking his medication”.

The circumstances of his disappearance are not yet clear.
