The 34-year-old victim was at a tavern in the Pango Camp when the fight between him and a 28-year-old man broke out. The statement said that the 34-year-old hit the younger man over the head with a beer bottle and a fight ensued.
The 28-year-old then left the tavern and came back a few minutes later armed with a knife.

Mashao also issued a warning to all liquor traders to adhere to the Liquor Act and urged the public to drink responsibly and avoid carrying weapons when visiting liquor outlets.
