Overgrown/ uncut grass near you? Here’s how to report it …

The News recently reached out to the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) after receiving a number of complaints about grass not being cut in certain areas.

Do you sometimes feel as if you are living in the jungle? Is it difficult to cross the road because you can’t see oncoming traffic? Are you afraid of criminals hiding in the bushes?

Well, you are not alone.

The News recently reached out to the Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) after receiving a number of complaints about grass not being cut in certain areas.

The municipality responded by saying that all grass-cutting requests must be directed to them, and there are standard procedures to be followed as well as specific turnaround times guided by area categories.

They added that contacting the News will not help residents jump the queue.
