Surprise donation for the Cradle of Hope

A local repair company recently surprised the Cradle of Hope with a donated tumble dryer.

On Monday morning, 8 February, Loureen Putter from a local repair company stopped at the Cradle of Hope to deliver a tumble dryer to the organisation.

She explained that one of their clients brought the tumble dryer in to be fixed in December.

Meanwhile the client bought a new tumble dryer, but she paid for the old one to be fixed and asked the company to deliver the fixed one to the Cradle as a donation.

Cathie Coetzee from the organisation gratefully accepted the donation and said although they do not usually use tumble dryers they might use this one at one of their projects.
