If these names get you all excited, you will be happy to know that there is now a place where you can go to play with others, right here in Krugersdorp!

The Krugersdorp TableTop Club is a local board, war and card game club that meets twice a week at the Khosa Sports Club. Their aim is to grow the board/ war gaming hobby on the West Rand and they strive to be a place where people can meet and enjoy themselves while playing games.

Darius du Plessis, Tiaan de Bruin, Remco van Aalst and Walter Pruter originally started the club in September 2020 because a similar club in Northgate was to far to travel to and there was a definite interest on the West Rand.

At the moment, the club has 12 members but they want to encourage more players to join them.

Remco said you do not even have to know how to play. If you want to join they will guide and help you, and even supply you with characters until you get your own. There are members in their club who travel all the way from Randburg and Fourways to join them on game days.

The club meets on Tuesdays from 6pm to 10pm, and on Sundays from 11am to 4pm. Those who need more information can either call Darius on 076 781 7085 or visit their Facebook page Krugersdorp TableTop Club.

Players of all ages are welcome and they invite people to join them on 28 March when they will be hosting a tournament.
