This week’s Covid-19 battle plan in Mogale City – where to get vaccinated

The West Rand District Health Department will continue with their ward-based district-wide battle plan this week. Here is where you can find them in town.

This week the West Rand District Health Department will be continuing with their district-wide battle plan which includes screening and testing for Covid-19 and various other illnesses.

In the January 30 to February 5 period, 7 793 people were screened for Covid-19. The one person who was referred for testing tested negative.

HIV tests were done on 5 689 community members. Eleven tested positive and were referred to facilities for further management. Of the 7 674 people screened for TB, 15 had to be referred for further treatment.

The teams screened 6 235 people for hypertension and seven abnormalities were found.

• Munsieville Care for the Aged from February 7 to 12
• Kagiso Mall from February 6 to 12
• Kagiso Chamdor Shoprite from February 7 to 11
• President Hyper from February 6 to 12
• Joe Slovo informal settlement on February 12
• Light Centre home on February 7
• Atholang Primary on February 8
• Bosele Primary on February 8
• Tsakane Primary on February 8
• Sandile Primary on February 9
• Thusong Primary on February 9
• Thembile Primary on February 10
• Diphalane Primary on February 11
• Phathudi Primary on February 11
