Pipeline work in Mindalore to resume on March 18

Residents, businesses and those who may be affected should note that while this work is in progress, water supply to selected streets in Mindalore will be suspended.

The Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) water pipeline replacement project in Mindalore is set to resume on Friday, March 18 after it was postponed in February.

MCLM said in a statement, “The postponement was due to the delayed delivery of material on site for the work to commence. Residents, businesses and those who may be affected should note that while this work is in progress, water supply to selected streets in Mindalore will be suspended.”

The schedule is as follows:
• 18 March – Work to be done on the corner of Richardson Avenue and Wege Street from 08:30 to 16:00. Richardson Avenue to be affected
• 21 March – Work to be done on the corner of Michael Brink Street and Trezona Avenue, and corner of Van Zyl Ham and Bow Street from 08:30 to 16:00. Michael Brink and Van Zyl Ham Street to be affected
• 23 March – Work to be done on the corner of Impala Road and Wege Street, and corner of Haynes Street and Trezona Avenue from 08:30 to 16:00. Impala Road and Haynes Street to be affected
• 25 March – Work to be done on the corner of Main Reef and Impala Road, and corner of Exchange and Impala Road from 09:30 to 16:00. Impala, Exchange and Valley Road to be affected
• 28 March – Work to be done on the corner of Exchange and Geffin Street from 09:30 to 16:00
• 29 March – Work to be done on the corner of Exchange Road and Rubben Street from 09:30 to 16:00

Residents are therefore advised to make arrangements for water prior the commencement of the shutdown. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.”
