Spate of theft incidents reported across Mogale

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security in Krugersdorp released its latest crime report which revealed four incidents in just three days all of which involved some form of theft.

Mapogo A Mathamaga Security has released their latest crime report which indicates that theft was once again a thorn in the side of Mogale City residents.

According to the report they responded to four serious incidents between June 20 and 23, all four involved some form of theft.

On June 20 at 07:22 they responded to a call on Kershaw Street in Dan Pienaarville. The report said that the thieves broke the rail of the main gate to enter the property and then also forced open another gate before making off with a generator, which was in the garage.

The next day at 04:24, criminals jumped over the perimeter fence of a house in Krugersdorp and broke two copper water pipes.

The next two incidents both happened on June 23. At 10:08 there was an incident in Rustenburg Road where the perpetrators removed slabs from the perimeter wall and then forced open a window and burglar bars before stealing pots, groceries, mattresses and cleaning materials.

Then at 14:31 there was a house robbery and motor vehicle theft incident at a house in Zebra Street, Rant-en-Dal. The report said that the robbers broke a lock on the main gate and forced open the front door. They then overpowered the residents and loaded a computer, surround sound system and a cellphone into the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.
