No light at the end of Mogale’s theft tunnel

Theft once again topped the list of the EPR Security's crime report in Mogale City this past week.

Taking things that do not belong to you seems to have become a pattern in Mogale City. According to EPR Security’s latest crime report, they attended to 17 incidents between June 19 and June 24 of which seven involved theft.

Four of these were for break-ins, while there were two incidents of damage to property and two robberies. Other incidents included an attempted break-in and a vehicle theft.

Last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (June 21, 22 and 23) three incidents were reported while another four incidents were reported on Saturday (June 24). Nine of these incidents occurred at places of residence, seven at businesses, and one at a school.

Noordheuwel and Monument had three incidents each, while Krugersdorp West and Wentworth Park had two incidents each. Other targeted areas included Lewisham, Krugersdorp North, Rant-en-Dal, Factoria, Breaunanda and Swartkranz.

Most of these incidents happened between midnight and midday.
