Bakkie hijacked in Vosloorus recovered the same day in Krugersdorp: One arrested

The Krugersdorp Police’s Flying Squad recently recovered a hijacked bakkie on the same day it was reported stolen.

Krugersdorp Police’s Flying Squad spokesperson Karen du Plessis said a Toyota bakkie was reported stolen in Vosloorus on February 7 and spotted by their team later that afternoon.

“A lookout was given to our people where they spotted the bakkie near Impala Road, Mindalore,” she stated.

She concluded they arrested a man, who he did not even try to escape, who handed himself over peacefully.
