MCLM communications officer Adrian Amod said the agreement is a memorandum of understanding signed recently at a major event held at the University of Johannesburg’s Soweto Campus. It was attended by Premier Panyaza Lesufi, MEC Jacob Mamabolo and other top municipal leaders.

The aim is to create a unified approach to combating crime, illegal dumping, and by-law violations – especially during high-traffic periods like Easter and the festive season,” Amod explained.

Amod concluded that Mogale City Mayor Lucky Sele officially signed the commitment, with Premier Lesufi present to witness the moment.
