Parts of town hit by power outage as cable thieves strike again
Another incident of cable theft has left several parts of Krugersdorp without power.
Councillor Amy Steyn wishes to inform the community of a power outage affecting numerous parts of town today, April 30.

She confirmed the outages are reported in Wildtuinpark, Agavia, Heritage Manor and Oatlands.
“This has been confirmed as cable theft at the Van Riebeeck bridge in Krugersdorp West,” she said.
Unfortunately, power will not be restored within the next 48 hours, due to a shortage of materials,” she concluded.
