From blackout to brightness for Mogale
Eskom acted swiftly after a fault at the Westgate Substation caused a mass power outage that left the town without electricity for hours.
Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM) gave some good news following a mass outage early this morning.

MCLM communications officer Refilwe Mahlangu confirmed that a widespread power outage that affected large parts of the town this morning, May 15, was due to a fault on Eskom’s side.
There was a trip to the Westgate Substation from Eskom, which supplies the town with power. A team was sent to investigate it,” she revealed.
Luckily for frustrated residents, she confirmed that power was restored at about 09:40.
