Khathu Mulibana said, “I would create job opportunities for South Africa’s youth, ensure that our streets are clean because there is litter everywhere and then I would make sure that people who are selling drugs are caught and brought to justice.”

Ralebepa Desiree chose to focus on students and said, “I would make education free so that no South African student owes tertiary education fees. As of now, students are suffering because of the different payment systems that NSFAS has chosen to introduce in the disbursing of funds to the students,” she said and punted that many South African students are suffering as a result of having to pay for tertiary education.

Rea Manyatja said that she would end the R350 unemployment relief fund that the South African government is giving to people because she feels it is making the youth lazy and not want to work. She further went on to add that without the relief grant, young people would be motivated to wake up and look for different ways of making money instead of waiting on the government to give them free money for being unemployed.

“I would open companies and create job opportunities for them so that they will not sit around and do nothing,” she said.

Tembani Ngqele focused on petrol prices and said, “I would decrease the prices of everything that is on the rise like food, petrol, toiletries, and other basic life needs because the cost of living is too high. The decrease in those things would give people relief for just a day.”

Nombulelo Khuzwayo said that she would use the opportunity to innovate, create, and bring a positive impact to the country. She mentioned that she would provide free access to education, build homes for homeless people, provide adequate companies for the control of energy, and lastly end load-shedding to keep costs down and increase food security.
