The On The Lawn Riverside Sessions attracted a huge crowd in Muldersdrift to watch bands like The Parlotones.

The On The Lawn Riverside Sessions music show rocked Syringa Park in Muldersdrift on July 27.
According to the event organiser, Anel Bezuidenhout, this was a music concert with bands and artists including, Ayrton, Sarah Jade, Zebra, Matthew Mole, and the highlight of the show, The Parlotones.

“There were shows, drinks, restaurants, a picnic area, vendors, go-carts and a kiddie’s play area. It also finished before dark, to keep it family-orientated,” Anel said.

The Krugersdorp News attended the event where there were easily more than a thousand people in attendance. Friends and families were enjoying the shows together and bonding while children were playing all over.
The highlights of the event were Matthew Mole and The Parlotones, with them attracting hundreds of people to the stage to enjoy the show. The Parlotones stood out, especially when they performed hits like Here Comes a Man.

Lead singer Kahn Morbee said that this was their first performance together in three years, as they were all scattered around the globe, and it was a challenge to get them together. He added that this was a special show to them, as most of them come from the West Rand.

“The crowd was amazing, and they all sang along with the songs. This was a truly lekker show,” Kahn concluded.
