Community rallies behind motorcyclist seriously injured in crash

Update on Jason Jordaan's condition following a serious motorbike crash.

After being placed in a medically induced coma, Jason Jordaan’s family is extremely thankful for the community’s support and donations that are streaming in.

“We want to express our deepest gratitude to each resident for their donations to support Jason. Your kindness and compassion made an incredible difference in his life during this time of need. The outpouring of support has been nothing short of incredible, and we are truly grateful for this community’s unwavering solidarity,” said Jason’s sister, Swané Price.

“Your contributions, whether big or small, have shown Jason that he is not alone. Together we make a lasting impact, and we couldn’t do it without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity and for being such an important part of this journey,” she added.

Providing the latest update on his condition, she confirmed Jason is still in a critical condition.

“The hospital still can’t find a bed for him in ICU, so unfortunately they can’t give him the treatment he needs, his condition is still the same, there is no change,” she concluded.
