According to club president Jeanne Morland, the evening saw more than 50 people who eventually won top prizes for their charitable efforts while having fun with family and friends.

The club has been around for over 83 years with a rich history of working with NGOs, including The Cradle of Hope, The Gideon’s Bible Association, The Gateway School, The Bethany House Trust, The Tower of Life, The Teddy Bear Clinic, Krugersdorp Child Welfare Centre and Glow 4 Jesus Community Church.

It also engages with various schools, encouraging the youth through various interactive clubs, allowing young people to grow and encouraging youth to take part in community engagement and outreach programmes.

Joining the Interact club allows for youth to take action to make a difference in their school or community, discover new cultures and promote international understanding and become a leader,” said Jeanne.
