Two-truck crash near Pinehaven intersection: 3 injured

Another crash at the infamous Pinehaven intersection, this time involving two trucks, has left three people injured.

Director of Guardmax Protection Services, Jan Venter, who was on the scene, said the collision occurred at about 15:00 today, July 2.

West Rand Emergency Services’ regional commander, Gerhard Nieuwoudt, confirmed that three people were injured, one of whom was trapped in one of the trucks.

As of 16:33, Nieuwoudt reported that emergency services were still clearing the scene, which could lead to further traffic disruptions.
