Curro hockey girls celebrate excellent seasonal results

Curro Krugersdorp’s first-team girls’ hockey side continued their impressive season form with a series of dominant victories, culminating in a 3–0 play-off win over Carletonville High.

Curro Krugersdorp High School’s first-team girls’ hockey side has established itself as a formidable force this season after producing a string of impressive results against strong opposition.

The team’s consistency, teamwork, and determination have seen them rise to every challenge with confidence and skill.

Among their standout results were a 2–1 win against Hoërskool Noordheuwel’s second team, a commanding 10–0 victory over Hoërskool Roodepoort, a hard-fought 2–1 triumph against St Catherine’s, and a 6–0 win against Allen Glen High.

According to school marketer Dibuseng Maboya, the team’s excellent form culminated in a remarkable 3–0 victory over Carletonville High in the school league play-offs.

The team’s success reflects their hard work, discipline, and strong team spirit throughout the season. Each match showcased not only their technical ability but also their resilience and determination.
