Local lad chosen for Lenasia Premier League
Kevin Pontus was bought by the U/21 Cavalier Cats.
Cricket-playing Krugersdorp High school pupil, Kevin Pontus, has been selected to play in the 2016 Lenasia Premier League and has been bought by the U/21 Cavalier Cats team.
The Lenasia Premier League is an annual cricket tournament that brings international, provincial and club players together.
These players are then auctioned off to different franchises and play against each other in an extremely competitive tournament.
Kevin’s team has already won both the games they have played, beating the Shakti Tigers in the second game. One of the players for the Shakti Tigers is a KHS past pupil, James du Toit, who matriculated in 2014.
