For the first time since 1989, MotoGP returned to the Ayrton Senna International Circuit, but unfortunately, Krugersdorp racer Brad Binder did not finish (DNF) the race.

Binder competed in the Brazilian Grand Prix this past weekend, March 20 to 22.

According to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, he started from 21st on the grid.

“He needed to make one of his customary hard charges early in the race to move up the leaderboard. He reached the limit of his pace but then fell on the fourth lap,” the team said.

Binder described it as a very short race for him.

“I started fast and passed a few riders at the beginning, but going into turn one, I locked the front wheel, and that was it. I would definitely have enjoyed a few more laps. Now we head to America, and we’ll see how we line up,” he added.
