Brad finishes 12th at US Grand Prix, eyes improvement

After finishing 12th in Texas, Binder has some 'serious homework' to do as he looks ahead to the Spanish Grand Prix in April.

For the third round of the season, local MotoGP rider Brad Binder competed at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the United States, where he secured a top-15 finish.

The race took place this past weekend, March 27 to 29, at the Circuit of the Americas. According to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, Binder qualified in 18th position and worked his way up the field to finish 12th.

Binder said it was a long and challenging race, as he struggled to find his pace throughout the weekend.

“I had chatter at the beginning, and it got worse, especially at full lean. I wasn’t expecting that. Two 12th-place finishes are nowhere near good enough. We have some serious homework to do to be better for Jerez,” he said.

Binder is currently 12th in the championship standings with 17 points and will return to action at the Grand Prix of Spain at the end of April.
