WARNING: Robbers target Stokvel withdrawals

Thousands in Stokvel money robbed in Tzaneen and the police urge people to be vigilant.

It is that time of the year where Stokvel groups share their hard cash savings of the year for festive season needs.

‘Members of the community, especially women in stokvels are advised to avoid sharing cash. They may approach any bank of their choice and request that all the collected money, be transfer electronically to their individual account,’ said Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
